Gerry-Rae and Nick love nothing more than being up in the mountains. With a shared passion for skiing, snowboarding and living life to the full in the great outdoors.
So they couldn’t have chosen a better place to get married.
Zell am See is a gorgeous Austrian ski town – south of the city of Salzburg – set between a large, glistening lake and a horseshoe-shaped mountain.
The perfect place for the couple to bring their family and friends – many who had never been to a ski resort before – and share an insight into the truly magnificent views you can enjoy up the mountains.
And what a venue for their reception! The AreitLounge is a stylish wood and glass hut only accessible by gondola (or skiing) – perfect for their guests to mingle while Gerry-Rae and Nick headed into the mountain for some skiing with photos and filming!
It was such a wonderful wedding day – with so many skiers stopping to take photos of the glamorous and cool couple.
And, we’re so glad it actually happened….
Gerry-Rae and Nick first met at Fortnum & Mason where they both worked and were work friends for a couple of years before they started dating. But Nick was adamant that he didn’t ever want to get married….
But a winter wedding in a ski resort proved the allure he couldn’t resist and it couldn’t be a more fitting rendezvous for this gorgeous pair.
And, of course, they have their wedding film to show all those who could not attend back in the UK.
